Bebe Rexha does splits wearing nothing but thong as she turns 30

Singer Bebe Rexha turned 30 today (August 30) and made sure to let her followers no in a big way.

The Say My Name songstress shared a photo with her 9.1million Instagram followers from a bathroom before a gig.

But rather than it being a standard mirror selfie, Bebe – real name Bleta – posed on the floor with her legs spread wide apart in the splits.

Proving her talents aren't just musical, the US star could be seen applying her lipstick while in the gymnastic pose.

Captioning the snap, Bebe wrote: "This is what 30 looks like. My birthday suit self love. Body positivity. Unapologetically me. Pre-show stretch and lipstick application."

As more than 1m fans liked the snap, Bebe finished the caption up with the hashtag "not 20 anymore".

While plenty of her fans rushed to the comments section, a number of Bebe's celebrity pals left messages of adoration too.

Former Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui wrote: "Go [off] bitch."

And fellow singer Tove Lo simply left a string of emojis, including the heart eyes, a flame and hands raised in celebration.

However not everybody was impressed with Bebe's birthday suit display – and they weren't afraid to tell her.

One commenter said: "You don't need to be naked to improve anything for anyone, shame."

And a second wrote: "Don't say role model because she is laying out in a bathroom... and this is what our daughters are looking at 16 and 17 years old and think it's how they should act."

Regardless of the negativity, the vast majority of Bebe's fans were loving her birthday present to them all.

In fact, it wasn't the only thing she gave her fans, as she dropped new song Not 20 Anymore as well.

The accompanying music video features 20-year-olds discussing the struggles they face, while Bebe sings of how good she feels growing older.

She sings: "Beauty's more than a number, when I was younger I didn't know that, and if you gave me the chance I wouldn't go back."
